Describing it as a ‘whirlwind trip’, Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently flew down to New York from Los Angeles to attend this special dinner which was hosted by the non-profit organization The Kering Foundation. While the actress has always been an advocate for women empowerment, this organization too works against discrimination and gender-based crimes. Furthermore, while sharing photos with multiple international celebrities, the actress described the evening in her note saying, “A whirlwind trip to spend a very meaningful evening with old friends and new. The #CaringForWomenDinner, on its third year was as incredible as its hosts. Thank you to the most wonderful human, Salma Hayek Pinault and the very charismatic François-Henri Pinault for including me.”
She went on to add, “This dinner was a powerful reminder of the difference we can make when like minded people come together for a shared purpose. It was about more than just raising awareness, it was about taking decisive action to end violence against women and create a world where women can live without fear. Congratulations to the beneficiaries. Thank you for the wonderful work you do everyday.” Along with the actress sharing a sneak peek into this event, several other photos also found its way online and went viral on the social media platform.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently wrapped up the swashbuckler drama The Bluff co-starring Karl Urban in Australia. The actress also has the release of action-comedy Heads of State starring an ensemble cast in the pipeline for release. Apart from these two, Priyanka also asserted that her much-loved spy thriller Citadel will return with the second season.
