She recently left audiences in Hyderabad surprised with her live rendition of the Telugu version of ‘Oo Antava’ from Pushpa: The Rise and also dedicated it to the actress who featured in the song – Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The sweet video has definitely left fans across the world enthralled as the bond between the two actresses left many happy.

Readers would know that Alia Bhatt made her debut in the South film industry with the Telugu entertainer RRR and hence shares a special bond with the Telugu audience. She decided to pay a visit to Hyderabad for Jigra promotions where she received a warm welcome from the fraternity with Rana Daggubati, Guntur Kaaram filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu coming in support for her. In fact, the latter made a public appearance after a long time owing to her break from the myositis treatment.

Reciprocating her kindness, Alia Bhatt not only sung a few lines of ‘Oo Antava’ but she also dedicated a heartfelt speech to the actress. She said, My dearest Samantha, you are a hero on and off-screen. I have so much admiration for your talent, for your resilience, for your strength. It’s not easy to be a woman in a man’s world, but you have surpassed gender. You stand tall on your two feet, and you have your talent, and your strong kicks to be an example for everyone”. Meanwhile, Trivikram Srinivas, who too has worked with Sam also shared a few of appreciation for the actress too.

Speaking of the pre-release event in Hyderabad, Alia Bhatt was accompanied by her Jigra co-star Vedang Raina as the film nears its release on October 11. Jigra is an action entertainer directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Bhatt under production house in collaboration with Dharma Productions.
