Janhvi was first seen in the video wearing only her pyjamas and no makeup. The video then showed her in a blue suit with glam makeup and sunglasses. She struck various stances while her Ulajh song Shaukan, performed by Jubin Nautiyal, Neha Kakkar, and Shashwat Sachdev, played in the backdrop.
Janhvi captioned the post, “This babe was in the hosp 3 days ago (face with thermometer emoji). Aur aaj (And today)? Poora ka poora (lion emoji) kha jayegi (drooling face and two hearts emojis) (She will devour the lion). #Ulajh in theatres on the 2nd of August (spider web emoji).”
The actor was released from the hospital on Sunday after receiving treatment for food illness. Janhvi was admitted to a hospital in South Mumbai on Thursday due to poor health, and she was later diagnosed with food poisoning. According to a source close to the actor, Janhvi was suffering from a “severe case of food poisoning” earlier. At the time, it was reported that she is on the route to recovery now, “though she is struggling with weakness”
The next day, on Monday, Ulajh’s song Shaukan was released. The makers recently debuted the film’s teaser, which featured Janhvi Kapoor as Suhana, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, who navigates a challenging task at the London embassy while being closely monitored. Her act challenges prejudices and confronts nepotism head on.
Gulshan Devaiah joins the cast as a mysterious undercover spy, heightening the tension in the story. The teaser depicts a maze of secrets and betrayals, implying an inside leak that endangers the lives of undercover operatives and forces Suhana to fight for survival. Ulajh, a film written by Sudhanshu Saria and Parveez Shaikh with dialogue by Atika Chauhan, will be released on August 2.
