The actor has also been instructed to adhere to a specified medicine schedule and stay out of the public eye for five days. The industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai posted the hospital’s official statement.
Mohanlal returned to Kochi from Gujarat, where his health had deteriorated after completing the filming of L2: Empuraan and the post-production of his feature debut, Barroz. Fortunately, recent medical reports indicate that he is recuperating well under close supervision.
The movie Barroz is set to debut on October 2, coinciding with the start of this year’s nine-day Navratri celebration. This will be the actor’s directorial debut, and his fans affectionately call him Lalettan. Although the film was originally scheduled for release on March 28, 2024, the crew decided to delay the release due to post-production delays.
Earlier this year, a Malayali writer living in Germany sent a legal notice to Mohanlal and the other team members, claiming copyright infringement. The film’s crew has not responded to the allegations made in the press.
