This party anthem, featuring Vicky Kaushal and Punjabi singer Karan Aujla, has become a viral sensation, taking social media by storm. Bad Newz, starring Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, promises a comedic rollercoaster ride. But before the film hits theatres on July 19th, the party has already begun with ‘Tauba Tauba’. The high-energy track boasts a catchy blend of Punjabi rap and Bollywood beats, keeping the vibe both authentic and universally appealing. However, the internet truly exploded when Nora Fatehi joined the party.

Karan Aujla mentions Nora Fatehi’s name in the song and the actress freaked out. In an interview with BBC Asian Network, she said, “I heard Karan Aujla’s new song and I’m like ‘That’s my name! But, is he referring to me or another Nora?’ Me, him and Badshah have a group and I asked, ‘Karan, are you referring to me?’ He is like, ‘Yeah, ofcourse, it’s you.’ And I was freaking out and he thought it was so funny. I said that ‘Karan, I am officially a part of history and pop culture now!’”
Known for her captivating moves and sizzling on-screen presence, Fatehi took to Instagram to share her reaction to the song, and it did not disappoint. Dressed in a stylish white crop top and denim shorts, Fatehi embodied the playful spirit of ‘Tauba Tauba’ in her Instagram reel. The caption, “POV: When you hear Ur name in a Karan Aujla song,” hinted at a surprise within the song itself.
Reacting to Fatehi’s sizzling performance, Vicky Kaushal took to his Instagram story and playfully teased fans with a line from the movie itself: “Yeh reel nahi dekha toh bada pachtaoge…” (Translation: “You’ll regret not watching this reel…”) making a callback to their music video ‘Pachtaoge’.
The film, directed by Anand Tiwari, is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari. Starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk, the film will release in theatres on July 19.
