Earlier in the day, NTR Jr. was spotted at Mangalore Airport, leaving fans curious. It was later revealed that he had visited his mother’s hometown, Kundapura, to seek darshan at the Udupi Sri Krishna Matha. The actor was accompanied by his family, along with Rishab Shetty and filmmaker Prashanth Neel.
Taking to his Twitter handle, NTR Jr. shared a picture in which he can be seen standing in front of the temple alongside his mother, Rishab Shetty, and Prashanth Neel. In another picture, the trio is seen relishing food served on a banana leaf.
Sharing the pictures, the actor wrote a heartfelt note: “My mother’s forever dream of bringing me to her hometown Kundapura and seeking darshan at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha has finally come true! To make it happen just before her birthday on September 2nd is the best gift I could give her. Thanks to @VKiragandur sir and my dearest friend Prashanth Neel for joining me and making this possible. A special thanks to my dear friend @shetty_rishab, whose presence and support made this moment incredibly special.”

On the work front, NTR Jr. is gearing up for his upcoming release, Devara: Part One, co-starring Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part One is set to hit theatres on September 27.
