Actor Pankaj Tripathi, recognized for his roles in Mirzapur, Gangs of Wasseypur, and Masaan, is embarking on a new journey in his career. He will be making his debut as a radio host for an FM channel. Known for his rhythmic speech and unique vocal quality, Tripathi is well-suited to narrate stories and engage listeners on the radio. He will host the third season of BIG FM’s show Dhun Badal Ke Toh Dekho.

Sharing his excitement, Pankaj said, “I am thrilled to don the hat of a radio host for the first time for BIG FM’s ‘Dhun Badal Ke Toh Dekho’ season 3, a show that presents varied perspectives on important topics”.
He further added, “As an actor, I’ve always believed in the power of screenplay, but as a host for the radio network, I’m excited to explore the power of storytelling in an audio format. Sometimes, all it takes is a change in mindset to see the world differently and with this show, we will be aiming exactly that.”
The first season of the show was hosted by Vidya Balan, who tackled a variety of taboo topics, while Season 2 featured Sadhguru and centered on mental wellbeing and spirituality. The show is set to air in the last week of October.
Pankaj Tripathi is a leading actor in Hindi cinema and has received two National Film Awards and an IIFA. He rose to fame for his performance in Anurag Kashyap’s crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur, following which he took on several notable supporting roles in films like Fukrey, Masaan, Nil Battey Sannata, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Stree, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, and the recent blockbuster Stree 3.
