Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, RGV speculated that the arrest was a deliberate act. He wrote, “Regarding everybody’s SURPRISE SHOCK about why the Honourable Chief Minister of TELANGANA @revanth_anumala did this to @alluarjun, I think it is because he wanted to give a BIG PUBLICITY BOOST to the Telangana state’s FAVOURITE SON for a HUGE RISE in #Pushpa2 ‘s week 2 ‘s collections.”
He further alleged that the state’s prosecution was intentionally weak to ensure Allu Arjun’s quick release.

Tragic Incident Sparks Controversy
The controversy stems from an incident on December 4, when Allu Arjun attended the premiere of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre. The star’s interaction with fans caused chaos, leading to the tragic death of a woman named Revathi. Her son also sustained injuries in the commotion. Police stated that Allu Arjun’s action of waving to fans from the sunroof of his car contributed to the situation.
Despite being granted bail by the Telangana High Court, Allu Arjun spent Friday night in jail. After his release on Saturday morning, the actor addressed the media, saying: “I thank everyone for the love and support. I want to thank all my fans. There is nothing to worry about. I am fine. I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate. I would like to once again express my condolences to the family. It was an unfortunate incident. We are sorry for what happened.”
