Sabyasachi Bride Opts For Royal Red And Gold Lehenga With Polki Diamond And Emerald Jewellery

Weddings always hold a special place in the hearts of brides, and if you are born in India, it becomes an extravagant affair. The most challenging yet rewarding task for the bride and her family is to select the outfits for the wedding. You aspire to be unique, to stand out from the crowd, and to be remembered as the most beautiful and distinct bride in your family history.

Today, the trending theme is minimalism and all things pastel, but brave are those who opt for maximalism and stand strong with their love for red and all things vibrant. Recently, we stumbled upon a bride’s unique take on a red lehenge from the shelves of ace designer, Sabyasachi.

Advika Bansal dons a vermillion-red jacket blouse with an orange lehenga

Colour blocking with two vibrant colours is a risque game, but trust Sabyasachi to balance everything. Advika Bansal, for her wedding, donned a red-hued jacket choli with intricate golden embellishment and motif work. She looked like poetry in motion, her grace stealing every heart in a red and orange-toned lehenga.

Yes, you read it right: Sabyasachi perfectly balanced, red and orange blended with golden embroidery and created a masterpiece. The lehenga was a flowy skirt and perfectly complemented the jacket blouse. Advika completed her look with a red transparent veil with a golden motif design.

For the accessories, Advika went all out with a polki diamond necklace with emeralds; she added another neckpiece along with it with the same composition, and any jewellery connoisseur would hardly be able to look away. She donned a matching pair of earrings. She added a nath and stacked her hand with diamond and gold bangles. For the makeup, Advika opted for a soft glam look with kohl-rimmed eyes, peach-shadowed eyes, and nude lips. She highlighted the apple of her cheeks with blush and chiselled her jawline with bronzer.

Advika’s lilac haldi OOTD

Brides usually go for yellow-toned outfits for their haldi ceremony, but Advika turned heads in her lilac outfit from Papa Dont Preach by Shubhika. The lehenga featured a butterfly styled flap blouse with a purple-hued block print lehenga in the hues of green and blue. She completed her look with statement earrings, a dainty necklace and stacked bangles.

Advika’s hairstyle was also very unique with a half-tied updo with a few loose locks left to frame the face. Her hair was beautifully curled, and Advika kept it simple for the makeup with a dewy base, pink lips, and kohl-rimmed eyes. A tiny bindi amplified Advika’s look and added the Indian touch to her overall OOTD.

We are in awe of Advika Bansal’s wedding looks. Let us know your views on the same.
