When Shah Rukh recalled a fakir’s valuable words after he had lost some precious money

Now, we stumbled upon an old video of Shah Rukh Khan, wherein he recalled some of the valuable words of a fakir. At the beginning of the video, the actor was asked by the interviewer about the time when he lost some of his precious money kept for his mother’s treatment. The interviewer said, “Maine kahi padha tha ki aap ek dargah mein gaye the aur wahan par aapki jeb se kuch paise chori ho gaye the.” To this, he walked down the memory lane and talked about the incident when his mother had given him Rs. 5000 to keep safe during their visit to Ajmer Sharif. Thus, he felt extremely bad for the same. Following this, he then met a fakir over there, who uttered some of the beautiful words that are still being clearly remembered by the actor. Talking about the same, Shah Rukh said:

“Toh wo mere ghum gaye aur main dhundne ko aya toh ek fakir baethe huye the wahapar toh unhone mujhse kaha kuch gum ho gaya hai kya. Maine bola ji. Toh unhone kaha ki panch hajar gume hai kya. Mujhe aisa laga ki inko kaise malum. Unhone kaha ki jaa yahan aya hai, dar se khaali hath nahi jayega. Paanch hazar gawaye hai panchsau crore kamayega. When Shah Rukh talked about his regret of not telling his parents about his love for them

In another candid conversation on Salman Khan’s show, Dus Ka Dum, Shah Rukh opened up about the importance of parents in one’s life. The actor revealed that he has only one regret in his life that he couldn’t express his love to his parents enough when they were alive. Later, during the promotion of the film, Hichki, Rani Mukerji asked her friends from the industry to share the hiccups they had in their respective lives. To this, her dearest friend, Shah Rukh remarked:

“My greatest ‘Hichki moment’ is the death of my parents. I was 15 when my father passed away and 26 when my mother passed away. It was very sad for us. The empty house without my parents used to come to bite us (my sister and me). The loneliness, pain and sadness of the loss of both my parents, could have been overwhelming enough to take over my life wholly. I decided to overcome this Hichki moment by letting acting fill up my entire life.”
