Sixth Edition of ExpoCulinaire Serves Up Global Success

The Sharjah Expo Centre (ECS) witnessed a triumphant conclusion to the sixth edition of ExpoCulinaire on May 22nd, 2024. The three-day event, supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), boasted a significant rise in exhibitor participation, with a 30% increase compared to the previous year. This growth was mirrored in a surge of international chefs, with over 3, 500 culinary professionals hailing from across the globe gracing the expo with their presence.

Organized by Purple Kitchen Events, ExpoCulinaire 2024 served as a magnet for the who’s who of the culinary, hospitality, and tourism industries. The exhibition floor buzzed with activity as leading figures mingled with enthusiastic newcomers, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and expertise.

A highlight of the event was the prominent role played by Emirati chefs. These culinary masters not only participated in some of the industry’s most prestigious competitions, but also served as esteemed judges, lending their knowledge and experience to the proceedings. Resident chefs took center stage, showcasing the unique flavors and global appeal of Emirati cuisine to a captivated audience.

The 27th Emirates International Salon Culinaire, renowned as the world’s largest single-entry chef competition, witnessed a noteworthy increase in participants, further solidifying ExpoCulinaire’s position as a premier platform for culinary talent.
