Starting with their debut album The Dream Chapter: STAR in March 2019, TOMORROW X TOGETHER has consistently made entries on the Billboard 200, with seven Korean albums and three Japanese releases. The act now stands alongside BTS as one of the only two K-pop acts to secure double-digit album placements on the Billboard 200.

From their May 2021 release The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE to minisode 2: Thursday’s Child (May 2022), The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION (January 2023), The Name Chapter: FREEFALL (October 2023), and their latest release minisode 3: TOMORROW, five of the quintet’s releases have achieved top 5 debuts on the Billboard 200.

minisode 3: TOMORROW also earned them their highest record on the UK’s Official Charts (dated April 5), ranking No. 7 on the Official Independent Album Breakers Chart and No. 8 on the Official Album Download Chart. The album secured No. 4 on the Top Albums chart by the French National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP).

Ahead of the feats on major charts around the world, TOMORROW X TOGETHER garnered attention as K-pop’s visual storytellers with layers of immersive experiences that accompany the album. A lyric video recently unveiled for “Deja Vu (Anemoia Remix)” features a silhouette of a person on an endless run, visually amplifying the sense of unfading nostalgia conveyed through the remix. The act also presented four unique visual concepts—Light, Ethereal, Romantic, and Promise versions—before the album release with photos and video clips, each being a visual representation of a fragment of the album’s narrative.

Continuing on their phenomenal success, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will embark on the U.S. leg of their world tour ‘ACT : PROMISE’ from May 14, performing 11 shows across 8 cities.

On the other hand, HYBE’s new girl group ILLIT scored their first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 just 22 days after the release of their debut album SUPER REAL ME, the album’s lead single ‘Magnetic‘ reaching No. 91 on the chart dated April 20.

Just last week, ILLIT set a record as the fastest K-Pop girl group to debut on Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100, ‘Magnetic‘ soaring to No. 2 in just 14 days since its release on March 25. The track also secured the No. 8 spot on the Billboard Global 200 chart (dated April 13), making it the highest-charting debut single by a K-pop group in the history of the Billboard Global 200.

The buzzing artist has amassed significant acclaim with ‘Magnetic‘ on multiple charts, landing at No. 11 on the Spotify Global Weekly Top Song chart, and No. 47 on the Spotify USA Weekly Top Song chart. The album SUPER REAL ME achieved the milestone of becoming the best-selling debut album among female K-Pop artists by first-week sales, boasting sales of over 380,000 copies in one week.

ILLIT unveiled a brand new music video for ‘Lucky Girl Syndrome‘ on April 17.
